A lovely, heartfelt tribute to a much loved family member AM. Many will know your pain & sense of loss (me included). It is profound. There may be some comfort from knowing you gave Penny the best of lives. You were both lucky to have each other & to share such a wonderful bond.

Always rough loosing your felines family members. Mine have always helped recreate peace after a crazy day at the hospital . We have always replaced every cat as their role in our health by down regulating the household is important

Over the years, many of you have joined me in celebrating this truly special girl turned young woman, Maddie. I am heartbroken to share with you that Maddie has passed away at the age of 21. I’m sharing a glimpse into my friendship with Maddie because I want people to know how truly special she was. I met Maddie when Kevin and I were filming Kevin Can Wait. Make-A-Wish America reached out and told us that a young girl’s wish was to meet us. I was so touched. This beautiful little girl was a fan of King of Queens? And we of course said yes. Maddie and her family came to visit us on set, and what started as a meet-and-greet turned into a real, almost decade-long, lasting friendship. Maddie would text me almost every day. She sent me funny videos, shared stories about her life, and came out to LA with her family, where I attempted to get her to expand her palate (though she always circled back to her favorite, a Caesar salad). We shared many beautiful moments that have kept me positive in moments of difficulty and darkness, and she was about to come to LA again, where I planned on celebrating her for her birthday and her recent accomplishments. Maddie had Spinal Muscular Atrophy type two (SMA), but she never let it define her. She was excited to begin advocacy work and had recently told me she was officially going to start speaking publicly about her experiences, not even for herself, but to help others. She had big dreams, and I was so proud watching her grow into the leader I always knew she was. Maddie loved her family and friends fiercely. For her young age, she would prefer to be with friends and family, playing games and our favorite, Phase 10. She loved all things girly: nails, hair, makeup, the Timberwolves. And she hated snow (though she lived in Minnesota), and more importantly, she loved helping people. She wrote me love notes daily, and I only hope I had let her know how much joy she brought me. It is me who hopes that she knew how much I loved her. I received this text from her friend Emma, whom I knew from the many funny videos Maddie sent me of the two of them. I’ve included it below. After flying to Minnesota to say goodbye (although she had already passed while I was in the air), I wanted her to know what she meant to me. That she was thinking of me in this way and wanted me to have the things she mentioned, that she cared so much, is also truly touching and heartbreaking. Maddie had so much life ahead of her. Her disease didn’t stop her spirit or dim her light. She was hopeful, brilliant, and genuinely excited for her future. I will miss her texts, her videos, and hearing from her every day. They always made me smile. I will miss her humor and the light she brought into this world every single day. Maddie had just turned 21. Her little body just couldn’t contain the big, beautiful life she was living. She was a force, taken too soon. If you feel moved, it would mean the world to her to support the cause she believed in so passionately: finding a cure for spinal muscular atrophy. Link to support Cure SMA is in my bio.

Lady Gaga spoke about her grandmother, Angelina Calderone Germanotta, who passed away earlier this month, before dedicating “Joanne” to her during Night 3 of the MAYHEM Ball in Barcelona: “My grandmother passed away. But she actually passed about a week ago, and I didn’t say anything ’cause I just wanted to keep it private with my family. But it became more public today. It’s hard when these big changes happen in your life and they’re not private, when family is such a private thing. But I wrote an album many years ago for my family called Joanne. My grandmother that passed away — her daughter passed away when she was very young, and her daughter’s name was Joanne. That’s who the album was about, that’s who the song is about. Needless to say, that my grandmother’s passing, as well as my other grandmother’s passing too — this was very big for our family. But I was thinking about how strong she was, and what a hard, hard thing that she endured, and all the strength that she gave to our whole family, and the strength that she taught me. So last week I decided to play “Joanne” during the show, and I didn’t know that she was gonna pass away. It was just a coincidence. But when it happened, it felt like she was talking to me. So, I thought since some people now know that my grandma passed, I’d like to just share this moment with you, and I would like to sing “Joanne” for my grandma — my father’s mother.” 🎥: notolsennchris/TikTok

This is a difficult one for me to write. It will also be the only one I make about this. It was Leah’s funeral today as you all know. We will all miss her so tremendously. I have seen so much love over this last week for the kind, caring and funny woman she was. But today she is finally rested at peace. We all know she was a sort of a kindred spirit. She could fight like a warrior princess, then just be like your best mate when you needed it. She could calm a situation so quickly. She believed in higher spirits, nature, art, music and family. She also valued all of our friendships, very deeply. Leah taught connections through music and her art. I said it then and say it again now, she brought me so much closer to faith. And from the messages and replies I have had, I know she did for many of you too. I know her family are so busy and distraught, but they are also aware of what is happening on here. Thank you to her family and friends, who allowed me to be a conduit for what they wanted to be posted, shared and released. All with an important and delicate matter. I feel very privileged. I wish Leah well on her next journey - wherever she is. We are all heartbroken, but we will carry your memory well. Leah loved nature and music, so I feel it fitting to add these that I took two weeks’ ago and a song that we both loved. I think this is apt. Rest in Peace Leah and may your memory be a blessing and much love to Leah’s family and friends during this time. 💔🕯️💙♥️ Rory Gallagher – ‘A Million Miles Away’.

Caller: "Okay. So, I've been with my wife for, we've been together since we were 14, for 14 years. I'm 32, I met her when I was 19, we had a child at 20. And, um, I've always just kind of been a butthead to her, to be honest. Every now and then I would demean her or make little comments, and I would say it started to really get bad about six weeks ago. Um, we were doing some work in the yard, and I really just blew up on her over the stupidest little thing. And then about a week later, we're just constantly arguing and dividing from each other. And then about a week or two later, she told me that she thought she was falling out of love with me. And it just really crushed me. I never would have thought that those words could come out of her mouth, and she told me that the way I treat her is, I'm not treating her the right way. And I completely owned it. I mean, I said everything you said is absolutely correct. You know, and I said, 'I don't want my son, our son growing up thinking that this is how you're supposed to treat women.' And, I mean, since that day, I have treated her like an angel. I mean, I've done everything and just constantly telling her I love her, giving her hugs, kisses. Um, but that was a Saturday night, and then Monday night she ended up telling me that she was, um, in communication with a guy she met on TikTok. And she told me she broke it off with him, and I asked her, What was the subjects about?' And she said it was just somebody to talk to about what I'm going through, my mental, you know, health. And she said it was never anything flirtatious or anything like that. She said it was just a stranger that I could talk to, but she said, 'I broke it off with him, and I'm gonna focus on us. And I said, 'I'm all in with you, let's rebuild this.' And we went about two weeks and it was just absolute honeymoon phase. I mean, we were just, never it was great. And then I went through her phone two weeks after that and found that she was on Snapchat with the guy. And I confronted her about it, and she said, 'Okay, well, I didn't think you were really gonna change, and I wanted to keep this friendship with the guy.' And she said, 'I'll break it off with him.' And I'm like, 'Okay, I guess I'll give you a second chance. I'm kind of heartbroken again that you would keep this from me. And then about a week and a half later, which was just yesterday, I went through the call logs on which, I feel bad because I'm constantly digging at all this, but every time I dig, I find something. And I confronted her yesterday that she's been talking to this guy for 30, 40, 50 minutes a day, um, the last week and a half, after she told me a third time that she was breaking it off with him. And I'm just super confused. I don't really know how to handle this. Now she's saying that she's all done talking to him, and I'm like, 'Well, how do I trust you now? You've been lying to me for the past three weeks about this.' So, that's really all I got." John Delony: "So for 14 years... you belittled your wife. She got the clear message she was beneath you. You're the smart one, you're the fast one, you're the quick one. You are the provider, you're the all this stuff." Caller: "Mhm. I always thought she was beneath me." John Delony: "Yeah, you did. And she's got that message for, for a decade and a half.

Howard Hawks on working with Marilyn Monroe: "Marilyn Monroe was the most frightened little girl who had no confidence in her ability. She was afraid to come on the screen. Very strange girl. And yet she had this strange effect when she was photographed. Nobody dated her, nobody took her out, nobody paid any attention to her. She’d sit on the set with practically nothing on, and a pretty extra girl would walk by and everybody’d whistle. But she got out in front of the camera, and the camera liked her, and all of a sudden she was a great sex symbol. Fortunately, I had her in a couple of the first pictures that she did 'Monkey Business' (1952) and 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' (1953), when she wasn’t worried. And also I had Jane Russell’s help in making 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'. We had a lot of fun doing the picture, but there were a lot of times when I was ready to give up the ghost. Jane Russell would say, “Look at me—all he wants you to do is such-and-such a thing.” And Marilyn would say to her, “Why didn’t you tell me?” But I had an easy time compared to some of the directors who worked with her afterward. Because after she got very important she became more and more frightened, and she just didn’t want to come out and do a scene. She didn’t think she was good enough to do the things that she did. She was always better in fantastic material, wasn’t she? Like in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'? There wasn’t a real thing about her. Everything was completely unreal. They tried to make her play real parts in a couple of pictures, and the pictures were disasters. 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' was the first one where she really went good, and then they had no sense to stick with that." ("Hawks on Hawks", Joseph McBride, 1982) P.S: Remembering Marilyn Monroe on her 100th birthday!

I’ve had a lot of people say Candace will move to Russia soon. I don’t think so. Her visit didn’t go well. I watched many of the PR interviews they set up for her and they were disasters. I don’t know if it was a language barrier that made her come off as so stupid or if she didn’t want to really talk but she didn’t do well in any of them. She couldn’t even answer the questions they asked many times. One interviewer had to ask her twice many questions. She answered most every question with “family is important” for an hour. It was weird. The next interview (and I’ll post it again here) is a friend of Putin and I guess didn’t know she was Catholic. Because he basically said the Catholic Church was corrupt and satanists. They had become super liberal even so much so that they did same sex marriages. And that France and the opening of the Olympic Games proved it. You could see she was upset and instead of defending the Church as not liberal or corrupt, she went on a Bridgette and France is bad answer. I think one reason she did that is she knew this guy was Putins friend and popular in Russia. She couldn’t push back on him. She was clearly not comfortable the entire interview. 30 minutes in she cut the interview and said we need to close it here. Her interviews were a disaster, her security guy almost died (I’m still on the fence about the story on why he was sick) and Ukraine bombed close to the hotel and event. She can say all she wants Russia is amazing. She’s lying. I think she found out just how not amazing it is.

🌻: I told her, “The day you decide to stand beside me, it might be a little tiring. You may have to face things that affect you emotionally. Are you ready for that? This path may not be smooth. It may not be as beautiful as you imagine. Are you truly ready?” And she replied: “I am. I’m willing.” I didn’t even tell her about the good parts. I never talked about the positives at all. I only told her about the worst-case scenarios, about all the difficult things she might have to face. The very first thing I wanted to know was: “Will your heart be strong enough to handle it?” But she said she wanted to try. She wanted to give herself a chance. She chose to stand beside me with all the trust she had. And because of that, I felt that from that day on, I wanted to take the best possible care of her as her partner. Because she gave me that trust. The truth is, there were many people who wanted to work with her. Many of them were from major companies. But in the end, she chose… But in the end, she chose what made her feel at peace. 🍑: At first, we didn’t know each other at all. I was simply someone who had been admiring her from afar. The first reason I chose her was simple: I admired her. I liked her. But after meeting her in person and spending more time together, I began to feel brave enough to place my trust, my true self, and everything I had in her hands. I trusted her. I believed that she would take care of me. I believed that she would help me become someone who could love myself even more in the future. Because of that, I felt more and more at ease. The more time I spent with her, the more comfortable I felt around her. And then I made my decision: “Okay. I want to work with her. I want to be her partner. I want to be by her side.” ⸻ MADAME FIN X FAYEATOM LIVE #FayeAtomLiveKperfume #FayePeraya #FayeAtom #AtomPariya

This woman is being accused of being rude by the worker, to me I think the worker was rude. She’s trying to return something without the packaging and was denied without it. So she went and bought another one and used that packaging to return the old one. She always had the receipt she just didn’t have the package. Either way she’s left with another item she didn’t need or return. I recall when I was at the pizza shop and a customer gave us the wrong address by mistake. She was babysitting and wanted pizza delivered to the customers house instead. I get a call from our driver saying he couldn’t find it, so I call her back and said that the driver couldn’t find the address, it didn’t even exist on gps. She argues with me how the home has been there for over 80 years and that my driver was too stupid to find it. I couldn’t find it on my Apple Maps either and asked her to double check the address. She told us the house number was 869 and it was actually 896. So after that I call my driver and he delivers it. Not even 5 minutes later she calls back complaining her food was cold. I told her it’s cold likely because the driver took a long time trying to find an address that didn’t exist. So once again she gets all belligerent. I refused to remake it or refund it based on her mistake and she claims I just lost a life long customer. Was I wrong for that, would you have remade it? Maybe I would have as a courtesy if she was cool about it but she wasn’t especially since it was her mistake. I usually don’t do anything unless we messed up.
