Why the 737 landing gear lever has an “OFF” position ✈️ It’s a question I get asked quite often and understandably so! “OFF” isn’t a logical position for the landing gear! The landing gear is retracted into the belly of the aircraft using hydraulic pressure. Once the gear is fully up, mechanical uplocks hold the gear safely in position. However, with the lever in the UP position, hydraulic pressure is still being applied to the system. This is unnecessary now that the gear is being held up with mechanical latches and places extra demand in the hydraulic pumps. So, once the gear has been retracted, the pilots will move the gear lever from UP to OFF as part of the after takeoff checklist. This simply removes hydraulic pressure from the retract lines. When the pilots configure the aircraft for landing, we move the landing gear lever from OFF to DOWN. This action releases the mechanical up locks and the gear is lowered using a combination of hydraulic pressure, gravity and air loads. Once the gear is fully down and locked, a green light - one for each set of wheels, will illuminate. Should the primary gear down sensors fail, we have a second set of green, gear down indicators on the overhead panel. As long as the gear is indicating down and locked on either the primary or standby indicator, the gear is down and locked and safe to land on 👍 In the very unlikely event that the gear won’t lower normally using the landing gear lever, we have a standby gear lowering system which allows the crew to manually release the gear uplocks and allow gravity to lower the gear - see my reel showing that system in operation . Part 6 The Pentagon Narrative; AA Flight 77 struck the Pentagon as the impact and jet fuel caused it to vaporize… Where is the wreckage? How did DPS get on site within seconds? Why does the damage not reflect the size of a 757 airliner? Why did the light poles the plane hit face away from the Pentagon? If jet fuel vaporized the plane why isn’t the ground charred? Where are the titanium engines? Why out of 86 videos showing the crash does the FBI release 1 that only has 5 frames? How did a untrained pilot maneuver an airliner at ground level? None of these questions were answered using facts based on science, in fact the FBI and 911 commission report didn’t answer many of them at all So this shows logically that it wasn’t a high jacked 757, so what hit the Pentagon? All these kids just lost their parents after an Israeli air strike on their house. They are originally from Gaza city, and they evacuated to the middle area to be safe, but last night at 2 am the house they were in was targeted. The boy in the last video was injured after an air strike on the school him and his family were sheltering in. He is in pain and he is asking for a bed. He doesn’t want to be on the floor. He just wants to sleep. The hospital is extremely overwhelmed.

The shooter arrived on campus at 11:52am, walked across campus, and accessed a rooftop from a stairwell. After the shooting, he ran to the other side of the building, jumped off the rooftop, and fled into the neighborhood.
