People 30+ what kept you entertained before social media?

We took our ass outside and interacted with other kids. Today's kids have lack of social skills, on the tablet and phone all day etc. And these parents wonder why they in school spelling cucumber with a "Q"😑

Listening to music on the radio. That was HUGE! Listen for hours and waiting for your fave songs so you can record. Ahhh that was how our summers went down

riding bikes, hot peas and butter, Uno, jacks, double-dutch, flipping (not me, I watched), Clue, Monopoly, kickball, Mother May I?

There were nutrients in the hose water. I’m convinced of that. It’s what sustained us until dinner. And your “hide and go get it” slip did not go unnoticed. You nassy. 😒

After school and homework done: outside and back home for dinner Saturday, Sunday and summer break: outside after breakfast, quick pit stop for dinner and back home before the street lights come on

Video games were GREAT, but were for two things: - Too dark/sick/weather to go outside - No adult at home to provide permission to be outside. Outside by the nearest ‘green thing’ (electrical box) is where me and my peeps were …. Plotting nonsense 😂
