"People act as if it would be a flawless operation with Dillon Gabriel. To me it's simple, better is better. Shedeur is better than Dillon Gabriel. You play Shedeur." ➡️ Jonathan Peterlin and Nick Wilson on who should backup #Browns QB Deshaun Watson

Sanders may be better, but we just don’t know yet. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the growth of all these quarterbacks, watching them each day and seeing almost every throw. Shedeur has made tremendous strides, but Gabriel’s small sample size last year doesn’t give us a true indication of what he could become. A new coach, a new offense and a new philosophy matter. Maybe this offense fits Dillon Gabriel’s skill set really well. Monken knows how to get the most out of his quarterbacks. We’ve already seen that with Watson, and I think he’ll maximize what each of these guys does best. I’m not saying Gabriel will be better. I just don’t agree that Sanders is automatically better based on what we saw last year. That’s my take, and I look forward to seeing how all of them develop.

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays Last time I saw either one of them play Gabriel was twice the player Sanders was.

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays Dillion Gabriel IS better.

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays What are you talking about.

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays Maybe Monken's definition of better different than yours

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays Im not sure what people see when they watch Sanders, but he's historically bad. Lots of tools, no box. Gabriel has a decent arm but he's better as a game manager. He's all box. Rather have that as the backup.

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays No way ,to short

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays

@JPeterlin @NickWilsonSays These two shitheads look like shasadface during a Browns TD. Clearly, they plan to cut Gabriel, why else would the team use one of their designated-to-return IR labels of the 8 they are allotted for the season on him. I mean, these guys said he has no trade value.

@NickWilsonSays @JPeterlin They both stink.
