A company that does not collect data, yeah right.

Our messaging technology is end-to-end encrypted. Of course the encrypted packets move through our servers, and the contents of encrypted messaging threads and photos, etc. are stored on our servers, but our customers control the private keys, which they generate on device. We have no access, and we don't want it. They can wipe the entire contents. We do not survey or monitor our customers' private communications for keywords to serve ads or for any reason at all. We do not employ AD ID technology in our OS at all. There is no AD ID. We do not mesh with the Google Mobile Services ecosystem or with Apple's data collection. The Privacy Center and our LibertOS-level firewall blocks trackers even when you put apps on the UP Phone which don't have the same level of privacy. Our UP Messenger generates a new key with every call. So to speak to your skepticism, it's not that we have zero data; we simply do not collect data to exploit our customers.

Yeah but what about us people who are the social security or disability that can't afford $2,000 for a damn phone!

It's $989, but I realize that is still out of reach for some. You can download the UP Messenger and UP VPN on the iOS app store. You can also sideload our full UP Store, UP Messenger, UP VPN, UP Antivirus and UP Store onto a standard Android phone. It won't give you the whole secure, privacy-first system, but it will give you a lot of the benefits.

Is it loaded with Google Apps Because if it is Google will still be draining you of all your information

No. In fact, apps that are dependent on Google Mobile Services (GMS) won't work on UP Phone natively, and we don't put GMS dependent apps in the UP Store. No Youtube, no Gmail, etc. Even something like the Uber app is dependent on Google Maps, so the app will not work natively. You can access some of these through the browser, but our objective is to keep Google out of the device.
