The audacity to drive the wrong side on Indian roads stems from poor laws and even poorer law enforcement. Lack of civic sense only encourages it. Kuch nahi ho sakta, ye sab chalta rahega.

This wrong side driving is such a menace that if the government can impose heavy penalties on everyone who does it, i guess it can offset the amount that is being saved by ethanol blending and actually use proper fuel for our vehicles. Should be charged with attempt to mu*der.

I survived a very similar situation with a tractor on the wrong side without its lights on at 2 am on NH4. Another on the same journey was a 2 wheeler on the wrong side on the fast lane, added to that road was curving right, meaning I had very little time to react on seeing him.
