"Between 2009 and 2014, ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was the most popular sitcom in the United States, adored by millions for its very broad humor. However, I argue that those fans are wrong. Objectively speaking, it’s an unfunny, terrible show that won’t stand the test of time. This is similar to my perception of Mychal’s shtick as bizarre and performative. In the online arms race to become the most one-dimensional caricature with broad appeal, akin to a character from ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ people strive to differentiate themselves, thus being weird. This is what drew me to Mychal. His eccentricity exceeded that of your typical ‘LibsOfTikTok’ featured player, leaving me transfixed. Those millions who disagreed with my benign post are wrong. They are the lowest common denominator, 'Big Bang Theory' fans."
