All in all, make sure you are NEVER afraid of any human, even if they have money than you. Her defeatist mentality got me angrier than the disrespect the parent brought to her. God knows I won't move an inch of it was done to me.

Why was she scared? What would have happened, if she didn't find the earrings? Nothing.

Loss of job

Loss of job because an unserious family wore their kid a heirloom to school?

You asked me what she’s afraid of, I answered what the most possible answer might be, judging from her reaction. What else do you think her fear might be other than that? Shey them wan flog am kwa?

Watching this I just concluded that I’m not a good person because I know I won’t lift a finger to look for the earring after that initial disrespect.

That was a mixture of subtle bullying & power play. She stunted on you cos she could & this innocent lady fell for it….

You're actually the one who want to be worried, I swear nobody can do that to me. How can you come and say such nonsense just because you feel like you have money

I won’t even flinch if someone speaks to me that way, if the school would be dumb enough to sack me for an ear ring I know nothing about then it’s a toxic workplace that doesn’t deserve me to begin with

@Hugo_Chiez I dunno if it’s just me but I like this babe. She’s extremely goofy and super articulate

Feom "did you people see" to this... na wa o

Omo, it can never be me sha 😂. Earring that could have been missing on her way home or even at home .

Look how she was emotionally bullied by her fellow women and she couldn't do anything — if it were a man who bullied her like this, the comment section would have been on fire.

I am boiling as I watched this video because I am a teacher. You probably worked in a school where parents are deified. Such establishments are killing the self esteem of teachers. No parent would dare that in the organization I worked. She could ask for the teacher to check, but for you to now turn into a jelly looking all over the school for earring is not in your job description. So the what happened to the other kids while you were doing that? Teachers, learn to carry yourselves with more dignity. You are professionals and an experts in your field, you are not the parent's maids.

Schools in Nigeria should learn how to protect her staff, so they won't be overly afraid of parents, I've been a teacher before, though I've not had issues with any parent before, but I've seen my colleagues do and fear losing their peanut jobs why, because the school doesn't protect her teachers, the only time you as a teacher should be afraid is crossing the line punishing a student or allowing harm come to ur students within school premises and school time, this woman should tender a huge apology to this lady, if it's the girls father, it'll be different, it's her pride that makes her fill the teacher is less and her fellow woman but beneath her to apologize.

@Coded_omoluabi This lady is dumbbbbb. She’s accepted to be in the wrong before she can even say what’s wrong . What sort of defeatist mentality is this ? wtf

Some Nigerians are just like that, once they speak English and assume they have little money more than others. They begin to act without regard for other fellow humans' privilege. There was no apology, no show of concern on how you felt, just simply moving on unbothered🤦♂️🙄 WTF?

I was so invested in this story I had to finish it 🤣🤣 she is a good storyteller.

This is one of those things caused by lawlessness in this country. Almost anyone , no matter their level of experience and cadre at work , could experience some form of this abuse and harassment. Because you want to keep your job, you don’t want to be victimized and all

Why where you scared?🤷♂️ Did you steal the earring or was it your fault it got missing? God knows I wouldn’t even look for that earring cos of the manner at which the mother spoke. The minther is rude and has no manner of approach. N0nsense!

The fact That the parent is disrespectful,God knows I won’t search for it. I’m not responsible for an ear Ring I had no Knowledge about

Na she wan stress herself nau

Most of you do not even understand her fear. I have heard stories... The teachers who teaches the children of wealthy people walk on eggshells. Any little thing, you'd be seeing your sack letter in front of you. You don't even caution their children so much if not, ud be sacked

Since when I was young as little as 7yrs, I have always had huge disdain for bullies and arrogant people. As the woman or man or demi god is walking away I would tell them/it or whatever "I would rather chew stone than search for any ear ring". If you really want to get me just be polite I would go an extra mile.

First of all she’s adorable Secondly she’s a fooI for looking for the earing like that after the way the mother spoke Thirdly she’s a coward for not demanding an apology from the mother before they left. Me I know say I no go gree sha. Respect everybody and fear Nobody

And why do you have to panic over what you're clearly not guilty of? Knowing she can never win if we argue it out, even in the court would make me calm. She's a witch. Those evil mothers are all over the place parading themselves

God knows I can't be that calm, you can't come and disrespect me and accuse me and leave after dropping your piece, God knows I won't gree...on her behalf I don dey vex, she found the earring and didn't even say anything until she asked, omo that's so disrespectful

I don’t get it. So it’s your responsibility to find her child’s missing earring considering the fact that it might have not been misplaced within your vicinity… Hmmm 🤔. Prolly you missed the moment she politely asked for your assistance in the search because this can’t be me.

She can't try it in any catholic church school. They will send her and pink out of the school premises immediately

I don't know why but I felt a bit angry watching this video. I won't look timid because I didn't steal it and won't be held responsible for it. That school is not well positioned in defending the teachers self esteem. The mother is to be blamed for that.

I want to fight on her behalf. Smh

Classism that Nigerians are sick of, looking down on everyone because they think they can.

Obviously, it's a private school that pays well.. if na those ones when dey pay 30k or community school.. the mama for no get peace

To the people who are acting tough and saying it won’t be them you don’t know how it is working in a school for wealthy kids

@Jamie_badoo I wouldn’t even bother looking for anything. Actually I would walk back to see the parent with cane. So she can repeat it

She's a good demonstrator.. I love her vibes

Poverty is a very bad thing

Power is where you believe it to be. The mother is an highly intelligent lady who has only come test an hypothesis. And you provide it positive. You as the teacher need to wake up consciously.
