This is another Walgreens in Chicago that will probably end up closing its doors soon because people are constantly stealing from it. CPD is always arresting people here for shoplifting. When businesses leave the neighborhood, the only people who truly suffer are the law-abiding residents who depend on those stores.

Rev Mike Keller’s history of slavery remix: Enslaved Black people (“The Blacks”) didn’t protest against injustice in Washington DC like Black people do today (I guess they couldn’t get the time off). “The Blacks” waited patiently for the “good people” on the plantation (those good ole racist rapists and slaveholders) to introduce them to white Jesus. “The Blacks” then “humbled themselves” (Black people needed to show humility, not the white people who enslaved them because they considered them inferior) and repented to white Jesus for their “wicked ways” (the enslaved Black people were “wicked” but white slaveholders were “good people”). Having forgiven enslaved Black people of their wickedness and answering the sincere prayers of the good white people, white Jesus abolished slavery. The moral of the sermon is that Black people don’t need to protest against the injustices of white supremacy, just wait patiently for good racist white Christians like Rev Keller to pray to white Jesus on their behalf and eventually everything will be alright. White evangelicalism is white supremacy.
