There’s always someone who has it 10x worse than you. Feel for this guy. I know first hand one guy that had everything set for the next few months we went out for dinner and drinks with the fellas. After dinner he gets a call and just like that next day he was on a C-130 on his way to an undisclosed location for an unknown amount of time for a tasking that only a few will ever know. No seeing wife or kids for over a year! Next time think of that service member in that situation.

It’s all about perspective but what’s happening now is still ridiculous

He doesn't have a good job he says, but the truck looks pretty new and he has 2 kids. If he had a budget he would probably have less than half the stress level. Shoulda waited on the kids or got a better job first, then he could see them I was a single father for 11 years (16 total when kid was adult and still lived with me until 23), worked 60-90 hours per week AND went to school. I drove shit cars and ate ramen for months and couldn't afford a gym membership because I had a budget and I was NOWHERE NEAR as fucked as this guy says he is.
