People are using this as another example of why Tekken 8 sucks, etc. But this bug is not a Tekken 8 bug. Tekken has fundamentally used the same underlying battle system code for more than 20 years. The stuff that makes Tekken feel like Tekken. This is a scripting... bug that occurred from Tekken 4 to Tekken 5, the likelihood being a minor error when they ported Bryan's moveset between those games. Because it wasn't caught by testers, or players and publicly flagged back in T5, it's quietly persisted through T5DR, T6, Tag 2, Rev, T7, and now T8. There have been a handful of scripting quirks throughout each entry, only for them to finally be fixed in T8 due to them being displayed publicly online. I think it's a bit unfair to further slam the team when 99.9% of people didn't even know this was an issue for 20 years.show more

We are in a period when every pebble out of place gets blown into a landslide. The team has no anchor and is exposed to receive all the frustration with no chance to appeal. I don't think that all the grief comes out of s2 either, it's something deep-seated boiling for some time

there's a LOT of those type of bugs that they will never fix even if we report them daily, like P2 "advantage" with sidesteps, full crouch moves not being read as a full crouch move and you get like a downjab or generic low instead.

P2 Advantage's sidestep was actually addressed @DustyEel showcased a handful of these bugged interactions in Season 1. They didn't specifically mention this in the patch notes, but they did fix this in Season 2. Again, I get the frustrations, but they do look at these things.

I didn't defend the bug? These are scripting issues, what I said is not incorrect. T7 report there were a bunch of things that they didn't fix which was frustrating, but they've actually fixed a handful of old system issues in T8 through reports.

We have all of the proof here and we have more screen shots below of player names and conversations where they want to mass report players like Miirio who exposes cheaters. This discord has over 200 members in there and some fo them have now reached Tekken God, Tekken God Supreme and God of Destruction. Black Heart has the Discord link and in the video we show the names of every person in there. We also have a link to the YouTube channel of the owner of this Discord and the person making all of the cheats. Please share this video around if you see it, guys. These people are actively making the experience of Tekken 8 worse.

In case you didn't know mode: The only player in Europe to have an "era of Tekken". The Ryan Hart Era of Tekken was between 1996 - 2012. During this lengthy 16 year period, there was no man in all of Europe who was more feared across all Tekken games than Ryan Hart. Disappointed to say that in my 10th year of commentating competitive Tekken 7, I will not be involved in its conclusion at the TWT Finals. Telling the story of these players and building this community has taken up the majority of my life this past decade so I put together a video to reflect back on it (👇bottom of this post). I've been telling this story since Evo 2015 with Nobi and AO in the grand finals of Evo. We saw the Echo Fox boys dominate the scene, then the Knee/JDCR era, to Qudans returning to win the first TWT (Hei-ha-chi! Hei-ha-chi!). In 2018 we had the Knee/Qudans era which concluded with Rangchu winning the TWT Finals. Then in 2019 Arslan Ash flipped the planet upside down at Evo Japan, Ryan Hart owned me up, Pakistan showed up through the rest of that year, and we saw Chikurin become TWT Champ. Then came Leroy Japan 2020 (shoutouts to Book) before the pandemic online era, online Evo's, Tekken Online Challenges and the creation of ICFC. More recently Arslan closed out his 4 Evo Titles, we witnessed the Knee/Arslan era, and now its the Atif Butt era, with him winning TWT Finals and closing out Gamers8 this year. So many players, new and old, will converge on New Orleans this weekend to conclude this story of what I believe has been THE BEST ARC IN FGC HISTORY. Personally, this past decade has been an incredible journey that I will forever be grateful for. I got to travel the world (Amsterdam, Japan, France, Australia, Philippines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Pakistan, Canada, Chile, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Germany) with my friends and make new friends across the globe. I helped start UYU and was their VP as we gave opportunities to players like Jeondding, LowHigh, Yuyu, Qudans etc. Jinhee and Drew showed so much love to the FGC during that time and I'm grateful they gave me the opportunity to guide the team internally. This past weekend the ICFC Championship was my last commentary for Tekken 7, marking a bittersweet end for my Tekken 7 commentary journey. The beginnings of ICFC were notable though. By 2018, Wednesday Night Fights Tekken 7 was dying. We were down to 4 entrants and there was no stream. I asked Valle if I could take over the Tekken 7 portion, I put together all the equipment, setup the stream going forward and we grew to 64 man weeklies offline. It COULD NOT have been done without Tanman, #BeeLDeaL | B:L, Billy, Suiken, Michael Y. Kwon and 上原 rickstah, who all held it down once the ball got rolling. Then the pandemic hit, we pivoted to online tournaments and ran everything ourselves. We had expanded our local to the entire west coast and after T7's netcode update, the entire USA. 10/0 reached out with the idea of taking what we had built and expanding it to EU and Asia. It was a difficult decision to step away from WNF, but I moved our tournaments to 10/0, ICFC began, and we now have a new generation of top players built ONLINE. That was unprecedented for Tekken. A HUGE thank you to all of the community for participating in these events and donating to the prize pools. Without the players and the community, none of this would exist. Never forget that. Big thanks to Chris Ceg and 10/0 for expanding what we started and pushing it to new heights. I have to also thank Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray for the amazing game that is TEKKEN 7. Day 17 of tracking my formally registered footpath complaint. I didn't want to post this video. I have been sitting on it for more than two weeks. The whole point of filing the complaint formally was to go about this process via the official channels that have been built for this exact purpose. My assumption was that BBMP Sahaaya was built for the convenience of the people of Bengaluru. But the last 17 days have revealed to me that it isn't working as intended. Countless people have replied to my posts saying, "I filed a complaint on the app and it was closed without explanation and without action taken." Stuff like potholes. Broken footpaths. Encroached pedestrian infra. Burning of trash. Piles of litter. Maybe some of these get resolved. I have not seen the statistics. Maybe the city is up to its neck in grievances and simply doesn't have the manpower to tackle them all. I love India. And I know that videos like this one do not paint the country in a positive light. But I also think it's important to recognise areas that could benefit from improvement. If they aren't highlighted continuously, it signals that everyone is ok with this reality. It signals that this is fine, that it's normal. And it isn't. This is not normal, nor is it ok. This is an apocalyptic level of deterioration. This broken infrastructure is a total embarrassment, not just for Bengaluru or Karnataka, but for India. And this didn't happen yesterday. This footpath broke a long time ago. It has been sitting like this for months. This is just one example of hundreds of thousands of spots like this. India has so much potential. But it's being held back. Its growth is being stunted by inaction and sluggish responses to issues like these. India is being held back by apathy. Honestly, my hope was that I'd be able to use the footage in this video for a before/after video, showing the improvement the city made when they came in to fix the footpath after receiving my complaint. I really wanted this to be a positive story! And I still intend for it to be, it's just taking way longer than expected... As many of you know, on Day 15 the case was closed with a very unsatisfactory fix. I feel that the bare minimum was done. Just enough work to be able to close the case. But nowhere near enough work to actually make the footpath walkable for pedestrians, especially people who are differently-abled, elderly, or parents pushing strollers. I am still optimistic that this will be resolved. I will keep highlighting the status of the grievance each day until it's fixed.

I think people that are scared of beavers are the people that like to manage the land completely as if it's a garden. Farmers and people that breed birds for game shooting and all that kind of stuff. I want to preface this with the following: I know that streaming in public is going to cause passersby to be curious, ask what you're doing, or even ask to be on camera. I am not opposed to this, and I understand that filming in public is opening myself up to situations like this. But I also try to be low-key and keep others out of frame while I am doing my IRL streams. I try to make it clear that I am not trying to be a "spectacle" type of IRL stream. Now for the context of this clip. I was IRL streaming at the mall and was being followed and harassed by a group of about 6 teenagers the entire time I was there. In this clip, you can hear them screaming because they knew I was coming and they wanted to cause a scene. You can also hear them yelling at me saying "let me be on your twitch". They then proceeded to hunt me down the rest of the time I was at the mall. I've been IRL streaming for three years and this week I have experienced more harassment from people (exclusively teenagers) than I have in the past three years combined. I understand that a lot of kids are being exposed to live streaming, and it's probably exciting to them to see a streamer in the wild, but when did kids become so rude and demanding? I know I'm an adult and they're just kids, but it's still unnerving to be followed and yelled at by a group of people regardless of their age.
