@LibertarianLars All people need to see to know the government is robbing them is their paystub. End the income tax, everything else is noise. The voter is an irrational animal incapable of understanding anything more complex than this.

@LibertarianLars We can always default on our debt and create a new currency. The Feds own a lot of land, so maybe we could back it with that. What could possibly go wrong?

@LibertarianLars The money to pay the interest doesn't exist. The debt will never be paid down, the best they can do is transfer it to someone else. There is no scenario in which America pays back this fraud. They will take your property over it though.

@LibertarianLars Great point, @LibertarianLars. The national debt discussion often misses key nuances. @MatthewHarrisX2 had some solid insights on this recently—helped me see the bigger picture without getting lost in the jargon. Thanks for sharing!

2,740 million a day, 114 million an hour, 2 million a minute. On just interest on our current debt. Options are to increase government income, decrease spending, inflation, or default. None of those are painless except increasing income via growth, which is what the BBB proposes. Growth will not be sufficient by itself. Pain is coming.

@LibertarianLars The way they framed the bill is faux. This is so much bloat, unless spending that will hurt our economy in the future. Im not even touching on the subject of Ai.
