Cap could do what he did because he was a super soldier. Sam has no powers. He should not be able to fling the vibranium shield like that at all without losing a hand.

Let's be honest, Disney/Marvel did not do a good job there and really hasn't for years. Endgame was truly the end given how badly their productions have performed since. I would've preferred Falcon to remain Falcon, not "Captain Eagle."

Ya'll are literally watching a Montage of training w a shield that defies physics. He's peak human conditioning. Elite Training. He's sparred w/ Cap, Isiah Bradley, & Bucky for years. Great conditioning, reflexes, and strategy. With his equipment/Red Wing, he's a beast.

People have to understand that the shield is not as heavy as people think it is…The more force you put into the shield when throwing it, the more stronger it becomes. Steve having the super soldier serum helped him throw and catch it without problems…Sam on the other hand had to train hard, get used to, and adapt to the pressure of throwing, and catching the shield. Sam is in peak physical condition and already had military training alone with his falcon gear to help him out. So him throwing the shield as hard as he can is still enough to hurt someone without killing them, and if he was to get hit with it himself it will just hurt him bad like breaking a rib. The new suit he got basically turned him into a super soldier without having to take the serum, but he did admit he should have taken it. Maybe one day in the next movie he does take the serum along with keeping his suit which will really make him a super soldier given him twice the power…In civil war when Bucky threw the shield at Steve in the street fight scene, Bucky threw it with so much force Steve had to dodge it because he knew if he tried to catch it, it would either kill him or hurt him really bad. So it mainly about how much force you put out when throwing the shield, not just having the serum to in order to use it.

Exactly!…People also forget that Sam had already gone toe-to-toe with Red Hulk in combat and survived. That alone proves he's operating on a completely different level from an ordinary human. The shield isn't just about having the Super Soldier Serum, it's about skill, technique, training, timing, and how much force you put behind it. Steve had the serum, but Sam spent years adapting to the shield and combining it with his military experience, Falcon gear, and Wakandan suit. That's why he's able to use it effectively. The serum helps, but it was never the only reason someone could wield the shield 😎🥂

True story…Every person that took the serum like Steve basically got instant knowledge, experience, abilities to use the shield without training as hard like Sam did.

Sam should never have been Captain America. They should have kept him as Falcon and left Captain America to the real deal Steve Rogers.

I love Sam but I don't get the whole thing of you don't need the super soldier serum to be Captain America like that's literally part of what makes cap so important I know Sam has the falcon wings to make up for it but he will never be as physically strong as cap no matter what

Being a captain is not easy. To become a great captain, you have to work hard, stay dedicated, and lead by example on and off the field

Sam is a real Captain America, worked and earned.

Didn't hurt that Steve was literally twice (if not more) as strong and fast as Sam.

Cap also has his super soldier mind. It helps with all the angles and trajectories to ensure the shield returns to him unless he gets it stuck in something. Sam does not. His use of the shield is actually more impressive.
