Hmm, so weird. Giving "Bad Girls" to Cher wouldn't have worked at all. Casablanca Records was already forcing her into disco with Take Me Home and Prisoner plus the track doesn't fit the New Wave direction of her 1982 album I Paralyze. That song always belonged to Donna.

miyeon shared that ‘run away’ was originally supposed to be on her second album, but it was left out bc it was too upbeat for the album’s overall mood. they even tried rearranging it to make it a little less upbeat, but it also didn’t work. she had also thought from the beginning that japanese lyrics would suit the song even better, in the end, she got to participate in writing the japanese lyrics too.
