people have forgotten about The Daily Show before Jon Stewart but it had some masterpiece moments this is from 1998 and David Cassidy posted it on his website, amazingly

my absolute favorite segment they did was A Whitney Brown interviewing two corn-fed ladies about some dispute in their town the first part was him asking "do you carry a lot of weight in this town? what about your opponent, she seems to carry a lot of weight."

then he asked one what she thought of her opponent. "oh, i have a major disagreement with her on this but i respect her a lot." then it cut to him with the opponent and he said "we asked her what she thought of you, and here's what she said: Idiot. Ugly. A real piece of shit."

Craig Kilbourn was the only good host, in my honest opinion.

I really wish I could find the clip of Craig Kilborn having Carrot Top on and brutally ridiculing him to his face. It was such a funny/uncomfortable interview. Every now and again I search for it online but never find it.
