Should be four weeks at the bare minimum. Gives time for the dad to form a proper bond with the baby, and also provides that support the mum most definitely needs. In a perfect world, it would be closer to 8 weeks tbh.

Completely agree! I’ve always thought how awful it must be to not have more time with their kids as soon as they’re born. They need that time to bond. No one wants to miss out on that precious time
