Only 30 years ago

Insane to think only 30 years ago it was unheard of to take anything other than cash. Imagine explaining Uber to these people.

“When I want a Whopper, I want it now” Legend !!!!

"When I want a Whopper, I want it now." -no nonsense 1990s man skeptical of how this credit card thing's going to work out.

Now there are places not accepting cash lol

I worked at a grocery store in 1980 that started accepting credit cards. People at the time thought it was nuts -- potentially financing your groceries. It was also a pain because no online terminals. We had to swipe the card in a reader than look up the card number manually on a hot sheet of stolen card numbers.

Crazy thing in that $10 was probably for a family of 5 😭

I love this shit, can’t believe I was alive during this time

There's a learning curve within this video - ppl were against this and some couldn't even imagine having credit cards on day-to-day basis. But here we are - 30 yrs later and it's hard to imagine a place that doesn't accept credit cards. We can replicate this to virtually any new technology ppl are vocally against tdy.

Guy at the beginning looks like @alexstein99 . Did he go back in time just to do a skit????
