The 60,000 heat deaths in Europe in 2022 didn't change much. People losing their ski destinations won't change much. People don't like to change.

This is the Winterberg ski area in NRW, Germany. Most of the slopes are already closed, but on a few there is still a layer of snow. But it's not really fun to ski on.

But don‘t we just need skis that run on snow and grass, and ideally on rocks and gravel as well. We just need to have techno-openess. („Technologieoffenheit“ is so weird that there isn‘t even an English translation) ;-)
