People like Dave Smith claim that "nothing" has been accomplished during Operation Epic Fury. Wrong. As Richard Goldberg explained on Counterweight, the Iranian nuclear program has been set back by many years.

@rich_goldberg Remember that time you claimed the regime would fall in a month and it didn't and then Dave absolutely torched you on it? That was fun

@rich_goldberg Will man, this is just a bunch of bullshit and you know it. I remember when I first saw you on @Timcast years ago, I thought you were a smart, honest dude. Holy shit was i wrong about at least one of those things, probably both.

@rich_goldberg @Timcast Perhaps you should watch the whole podcast and see WHY Rich thinks these things rather than assuming we're either stupid or lying.

@rich_goldberg Operation Epstein Fury has done nothing more than delay BiBi’s felony trial, kill a whole bunch of children and get hundreds of Americans killed or wounded in an illegal war.

@rich_goldberg Nothing has been accomplished and the vast majority of Americans don’t give a fuck about Iran’s nuclear program. Only Israel does you’re a fucking Zionist and everyone knows it

@rich_goldberg So in July 2025 we set them back years in the 12 day war and then they got to the one yard line and we had to hit them again... Okay - time to call your bluff. Just let them have the nukes then.

@rich_goldberg They're still 2 weeks away from a nuke just like they were every year between 1996 and yesterday.

We were told the same thing last Summer. Remember in June of 2025 when Trump and Hegseth insisted that Iran's nuclear weapon capability had been "obliterated?" In fact, we have been told for over three decades now that "Iran is just weeks away from a nuclear weapon." You believe it all and it's all been a big lie.

@rich_goldberg So does that mean we are going back to the, “they are 2 yrs away from having a nuclear weapon talking point again”. Oh wait they already started to bring that up. These guys are such frauds

@rich_goldberg And Dave is completely right when he said that you’re still moving the goalpost. Case in point. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@rich_goldberg Too bad you and everyone else supporting this said that in June of last year and you were totally full of crap as you are now.

@rich_goldberg Ahhh yes "many years". From some vague point to another vague point "many years" beyond. Credit the US military for accomplishing a nebulous, unquantifiable goal.

@rich_goldberg The nuclear program that we were told was destroyed and “completely obliterated” in June 2025? Apparently you think solving an imaginary problem of Iran’s nuclear weapons they weren’t actually building is worth losing midterms.

@rich_goldberg If the goal was to have high gas prices and dead troops and wasted munitions, the yeah, a lot got accomplished

@rich_goldberg What does the desired end state of this conflict look like? That’s where we started our planning when I was active duty. So, where’s that?

@rich_goldberg Accomplished spending, below, and Brown University’s energy-cost tracker (updated around today) puts the extra U.S. household bill at about $101 billion for gasoline + diesel combined since late February

@rich_goldberg The Iranian nuclear program has been set back to where it was in the late 90s, which according to Netanyahu was 2 weeks away from a weapon.

@rich_goldberg REALLY. You’re really claiming that an illegal, unprovoked war eliminated Iran’s atomic weapons that didn’t exist, and were forbidden by its supreme leader. Huh.

@rich_goldberg these neocons are beyond pathetic! They still don’t realize the US is the world‘s biggest terrorist and has been since the end of World War II. If you replace the word USA with Russia this would not be confusing to anybody

@rich_goldberg So we… mowed the lawn, again? Last year, after Operation Midnight Hammer, the Administration claimed that the nuclear program had been “completely destroyed” and that all reports to the contrary were “fake news.” So how did the new war, a year later, accomplish that goal?
