It was messy but deliberate. With that style of makeup and the theatrics around throwing the wig it gave drag queen. People hyped up on hate are obsessed with how clocky the outfit was but I don't think passing was ever the point. Emotional performance, but def not for everyone

Just because the point was for it to be messy does not mean that the mess was good in any way whatsoever. They’re obviously a very talented artist and The Code is great, but this was tough to sit through, not for the message but because it was a bad performance

No like it was so brilliant, a proper art piece and they performed it like nothing else. Weird, strange, uncomfortable, personal and vulnerable. It's authenticity like that should be what gets rewarded, I'm glad they're a winner.
