People only like Chinese school students doing cooking activities.. When Indian students do such activities "Are we sending kids for this, why don't you get some workers to do this ???" But anyway kudos to the teachers !!

This is life skill. School teaching cooking will develop skills to work in group and at same time teach them basic stuff so they can help at home.

We need to enlighten them that in Japanese schools there are no janitors & students themselves clean the entire school premises. Teaching children life skills should be made part of the syllabus. Especially given that many now migrate outside their home cities/towns & live alone.

But some parents won't accept this ..

In my days, we used to clean our classroom and be sent to clean our playground in schools We also had cooking activities, we made salad and other stuff
