Our world will never be the same. We gathered together at UVU campus for a vigil to pay respect to Charlie Kirk. He was a man of faith, courage and conviction. He knew there was a risk in standing up each day, but continued to stand. Charlie spoke truth, united people, and brought hope. It was clear last night at the vigil that his message and legacy lives on. Thank you, Charlie for changing our world and for standing up for what really matters… God, Faith, family, country. This happened 5 years ago today. Idol had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and we were living day to day. I was sitting on the porch drinking coffee on this particular morning and saw something out of the corner of my eye. There was a little bird borrowing some fur from Idol to build his nest. I think he knew that was the perfect fur for his little bird nest. Believe it or not, that little bird came back the next day. That just shows what an amazing and giving dog Idol was right up until the end. If you needed him, he was there for you, no questions asked.❤️
