That means closing the loophole that prevents federal officials from being sued & ending qualified immunity to hold federal agents accountable. I hope all the Federal agents that are doing ICE raids especially under Greg Bovino know they don’t have qualified immunity and when this Administration is no longer in office they will be up on charges and will also be sued privately for their actions & crimes!

At my weekly visit today at 26 Federal Plaza, there was just one detainee and many fewer ICE agents. It's clear that the agents have been relocated to airports to "help" TSA. ICE also admitted last week that they’ve been violating their own policy by arresting people in immigration courthouses. No agents were outside of courtrooms today. I am waiting for more answers from Secretary Markwayne Mullin about this egregious violation of law and policies as we keep fighting to hold ICE accountable in New York.

The CA Senate passed my bill, the No Kings Act, which will allow California residents to sue ICE and other federal officials for violating their rights. My hope is that other states will adopt this model. The American people are under attack, and we must protect them.

🚨 UPDATE: FEDERAL LABOR UNIONS are the ones who sued to BLOCK the Trump admin from offering federal workers buyouts, per Fox Union bosses are TERRIFIED that they're going to lose out on union dues as the federal workforce shrinks. That's what this is about. These unions just BARRED the 60,000+ federal workers who had already accepted the buyout from being allowed to make that decision. This is IN NO WAY favorable to federal workers. Why aren't they being allowed to make decisions for themselves??! Nobody is forcing them to take a buyout!

Here’s Kat Abughazaleh, whose running for Congress in Illinois, encouraging people to continue impeding federal ICE agents until they can get the ICE facility in Chicago “shut down” She states that protesters will be showing up every Friday from 7-9am and won’t stop until the facility is closed. For the last 2 weeks they’ve been blocking ICE vehicles and impeding officers which is a federal felony and here’s Kat encouraging people to continue to do so, instructing them to bring gas masks if tear gas is deployed. Why have these protesters been allowed to impede federal officials for two weeks now?
