@thelizcarr No-one is saying we shld stop valuing pple who live in pain. This is claiming assisted dying is something that it is NOT. Pple who are: 1. Terminally ill w <6m to live 2. In great pain Should have the CHOICE of a dignified exit. You're saying they should not. Choice = Respect

@thelizcarr Of course you can. But that doesn't mean some people do not want a painful or protracted death and the suffering that goes with it. Every individual should have the right to say enough.

@THemingford @thelizcarr Every life has value, surely lts a choice if one wants to end their life not because of disability, age, depression but because at the end of life illness that causes suffering, loss if dignity that no amount of palliative care can ease that suffering.

@thelizcarr This is, of course, wilfully ignoring the reasoning behind some people wanting to have the choice. Why do people wish to control other peoples choices so much??.
