“People think [weed] is going to help you sleep at night… decrease your anxiety… treat pain. None of that has been shown medically. It increases your anxiety. It doesn’t help you sleep. It doesn’t treat pain.” — Marc Siegel MD

@DrMarcSiegel I have to disagree with you completely. As I've had 10 back surgeries and have 2 medical electronic devices implanted in me and marijuana helps me sleep at night and rest during the daytime without taking any pain pills. Otherwise, I'd be on Opiates.

@DrMarcSiegel I’ve personally conducted a 40 year study on this topic, and I’ll find your results to be BULLSHIT.

@DrMarcSiegel Hmmm it does both, helps sleep and eases pain

@DrMarcSiegel He's doing it wrong

@DrMarcSiegel What a moron...paid for by Pfizer

@DrMarcSiegel Laura, look, I'm a hardcore Republican. I dont drink. But I dont mind smoking a doobie when I'm in a legal state like Illinois. Trust me, I was sleeping like a baby when I was stoned. No anxiety. I was just chilling. The stuff is so strong nowadays, though. Holy cow.

@DrMarcSiegel "Doesn't help you sleep"?? Works for me. 1/4 of a joint and I sleep for 4 hours. Then get up to pee, smoke another 1/4, sleep another 4 hours and I'm rested and ready. Indica works for me.

@DrMarcSiegel Edibles aid sleep. CBD reduces inflammation, and properly made topicals relieve pain. Why speak strongly against something that reveals your ignorance?

@DrMarcSiegel Uh. That’s not true. I worked night shift for most of 23 years and the only relief o have found since then is THC at bedtime. I sleep like a baby and haven’t felt this good in many years.

@DrMarcSiegel Actually I can provide you with verified data that disproves all of this. What is this guy a doctor of and what peer reviewed studies has he published. My guess is none.
