The USC was temporary, so was the levy on insurances. We are being taxes on absolutely everything for less and less services and a later age of retirement.

It will be interesting to see what actually comes of this budget. There’s a lot of talk about looking after workers. The probable result is that workers get a very small amount of income tax relief only for it to be taken straight back off them through stealth tax increases.
