Why does the world ignore the rights of the Kurdish people? Why are policies imposed on the Kurdish people, while their most basic rights are overlooked? How long will the Kurdish people be denied a simple right — to see their leaders standing in international forums with the flag of Kurdistan behind them? Why are Kurdish leaders forced to stand before flags that do not represent them or the aspirations of their people?
