Pepper growing and the importance of pruning

Almost all plants appreciate this to certain degrees. Thinning out unnecessary growth especially on any flowering plants produces greater flowering production.

I made a hybrid . It is jalapeño habenero , Serrano , Anaheim. It started out the visible different peppers . Now they are more of a picante . I’m in so cal so my pepper plant has peppers all year .

Cutting the top off the plant will also result in a larger yield.

I eat the leaves too they're very tasty

Same thing with Cannabis.
