not only was .38 special a great band, but their music is the ultimate late night road trip music, you shuffle them with Golden Earring and Meatloaf and a 100 mile drive goes by in a heartbeat.

I remember when I first heard them and I was like, wow, that kind of sounds like Ronnie Van Zants voice but at the same time it’s not. And it can’t be, cuz he’s not around anymore. 😭💔 I was young, not even in high school yet. Loved this band from the get go.

I love that song because it captures the essence of young love when many of us were in high school or college! I really enjoy watching the band perform the song, but the following video effectively uses scenes from Can’t Buy Me Love with the song.
