Looks like the best way across is to run WITH the direction of the swing, and to do so not overly quickly. That way the bridge will always be below your feet. Looks fun. Wish I can try it.

The trick is easy. You swing with the bridge while rumming at a decent pace. Everybody was runming fast and straight. Instead of swinging their center of gravity side to side as they moved.. I didnt even take physics in HS and this was obvious
