To the degree that anyone is voting for awards based on color, it’s FAR, FAR more prevalent among black people and everyone knows it. White people are mortified of being called racist so most would never do it.

You don't understand the difference between "voting" versus "rooting". The voting body and membership are majority white. Hence the Oscars So White and Emmys So White, and the HFPA issues around the lack of black nominees. Your point is misguided.
