Please research estrogen and its link to breast cancer. I went through menopause cold turkey. Bought my husband a winter beanie and longjohns so when I cranked up the ac in winter and turned on the ceiling fan he’d be ok. 🤣

I don't have any advice for you, but I can tell you that I feel better knowing I'm not alone procrastinating on seeing the doctor for perimenopause because its too complicated. I can't manage to get past getting the labs drawn, because the lab in the office is out of network and I don't have out of network benefits. I know I can solve for this, but who has time for all those steps?

I had terrible body aches. Hip, back, shoulder… any joint could hurt for no reason. Started HRT, three days later I felt “normal”. That was the biggest win. I’m still crazy, but pain free crazy.

Magnesium glycinate. Take two at night and your hot flashes will disappear. If you can’t get your hands on the meds, eat sunflower seeds. IT WORKS.

The worst 10 years of my life with my body. What a struggle. So tired and miserable. Weight gain made it more depressing. All I wanted to do was sleep and not think. It’s over now. I’m sooo happy! It’s over and I feel so free and great.

You’ll feel fantastic. Progesterone and estrogen was a game changer for me. Use top of lid to apply the gel. I also got a D&C which helped with the horrible and irregular periods. Also get vaginal estrogen. Helps to prevent uti’s. Take vitamin d with vitamin k for absorption.

5mg of a pot gummy before bed will stop hot flashes in the night. No high cause you’re asleep, and no hot flash. Trust me, it helps

DO NOT take cholesterol medicine. It causes Alzheimer’s by depleting your brain of cholesterol. The started out saying 200’s was normal, nw they’re saying it has to be below 120. You brain lining is made of cholesterol.

I do none of that. I eat clean foods that naturally increase progesterone, eat when I get up to drop my cortisol level and workout everyday except Saturday. That’s it. If I were to take any vitamin, even methylated ones, its joint pain and inflammation. No way I’m putting any of that in my body.

They have an estrogen progesterone patch. You slap it on you go a week and you change it out it’s easy. Yeah, and I’m with you on the iron. But my vitamin D got low and I now have full-blown psoriasis. Please take your vitamin D.

I’m 67 & well past menopause however, I do have iron deficiency anemia. I’ve had several iron infusions & they’re a breeze. No side effects at all for me. Hope you & Anna enjoy your honeymoon in Japan & try to stay cool. 🤗

Congrats on your wedding! I’ve visited Japan twice, it’s marvellous. I have been on hrt 17 years and it saved my life, I had horrible chronic insomnia and was extremely depressed I take iron tabs every day & take chia to help with constipation. You’ve got this!

I lived in Japan a long time -loved it, speak the language married a guy- the whole shebang! BUT the heat and humidity is rough so you have to get some support. Have you tried estroven (at grocery store)? I recommend getting a cooling towel for your neck and a personal fan

Take a copper supplement it helps pure body utilize the iron in your food . Old homes had copper pipes for a reason as well as copper pitchers and mugs .

You know what works for constipation? Pineapple! Fresh sliced pineapple works like a charm w/o any painful bloating and gas. Plus, it’s delicious! You get relief within 12-18 hours.

Since you’re going to be in Japan, make sure you always have one of those folding Japanese fans. You can find them anywhere and won’t be out of place when you whip one out at the first sign of heat.

Thank you for telling your story. Its something we need to talk more about. You have to try this stuff. Its Iron, Vit. C, B Vitamins. I have so much energy. You have to take it on an empty stomach or an hour after you have your tea in the morning. I take it with an orange. I have so much energy now!
