Nay. IF we feel we *have* to do away with the twice-a-year clock changes, then I think we should go for permanent standard time instead of permanent daylight saving time.

Nay, the status quo works just fine. It adjusts the natural and inescapable realities to real world living. They won't adjust school and work times as needed to make this a workable option.

I was alive in '74. Kids were waiting for buses walking to school & adults went to work in the dark. We did it to save energy. I hated it & everyone I knew hated it. If we want to fix it, we need year around standard time. That makes much more sense.

Permanent daylight saving time sounds great until you realize someone has to explain why sunrise is still late in winter. 😭 More evening sunlight is nice, but the morning darkness might make a lot of people question their life choices. ☀️😅
