Last week, Toyota USA announced a new $453 million investment in their manufacturing plant in Buffalo, West Virginia, as well as the addition of 80 new jobs to increase production of four-cylinder hybrid-compatible engines, sixth generation hybrid transaxles, and rear motor stators. Chairman Shelley Moore Capito visited the plant earlier this month alongside U.S. EPA Administrator U.S. EPALeeZeldin and was thrilled to see the scale of Toyota’s investment in West Virginia’s economy and the American auto industry.
