Persepolis is a Greek name. "the city of Persians" The real name is Parsa. in other times it was named Jamshid throne. referring to the place of the king / ruler / majestic . . Not only in this case: we all need to remember - taking responsibility on our culture start with holding true facts & reality close to us via the language that restore & preserve the heritage.

A place I would love to see in person, someday. Lions were featured throughout the palace at Persepolis - an important symbol of many empires, not just for Persia.
