About 100 police officers were called to King of Prussia Mall early on Saturday morning for crowd control and dispersal connected to a watch release. Upper Merion Township police said a group of "several hundred people" gathered outside the mall before it opened for a new release from Swatch. When police told the group to move back from the mall doors, "the crowd continued to grow and and became more defiant."

Belfast has reached a “tipping point” due to rising levels of anti-social behaviour, a business owner said ahead of the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann coming to the city. Richard Evans, owner of The Pocket cafe, has accused Belfast City Council of “a total lack of planning, coordination, and action” in an open letter, warning that the state of the city centre “poses a serious risk to the reputation of Belfast and to the safety of those attending” the festival, being held here for the first time in August. Mr Evans, whose own premises was broken into and vandalised on Saturday morning, told The Irish News that the city was in urgent need of help.

This fight between two women happened in front of shocked shoppers in Southend High Street. The incident took place in the middle of the day and further highlights continued issues with anti-social behaviour in the city centre. An eyewitness told Your Southend that the women had allegedly "been arguing about drugs". Southend has a Community Safety Partnership (CSP) which share responsibility of tackling crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour plus drug and alcohol related offending. It's a multi-agency team including Southend City Council's Community Safety Unit, Youth Offending Service, Drug and Alcohol team, Essex Police, Essex County Fire & Rescue Service, the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner, South Essex Homes, the National Probation Service and Health Services. There is a team of Community Safety Officers who are responsible for providing high visibility patrols in the city centre to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and other issues.
