Persona 3 Reload Dorm Test Not a single light was changed yet btw, just textures and AO. Many dorm textures in Reload are literally upscales from FES with the saturation turned up by 200%

I showed this in daytime for a reason Dorm at night is cursed, no amount of texture editing will change the fact Atlus shipped the Dorm's map with Preview Quality settings, resulting in there just being no lightmap at all. It's not an artstyle choice, it's a literal tech error

My best guess at why the textures are so oversaturated is they tried compensating for the filter in January But if they were going for the movie's style, they could've just made all the lights dimmer instead? I agree P3M is beautiful but this is VERY different from desaturation

I should also point out a lot of the lights in the dorm are completely fake. The lamps have an orange glow to them somewhat, but they have no impact on the room's lighting and some of them don't even have said glow when they should be turned on

Night time for those who were curious but no texture change is going to save this lighting

The more ppl reveal info about Reload's technical stuff, the more it validates my feeling that this is not a 70 dollar worthy product.

This looks 100 times better than base game. Kinda astounding that it shipped like that. Next step is to add an obnoxious grey color filter so the player knows that they should be sad. :(
