Several people have asked, and I truly appreciate the concern, but I want to be clear: I do not believe this was a targeted attack on me, as I was incognito at the time. I believe this was an attack on NYPD, of which I ended up in the crossfire. God bless these patriots who sprung into action as soon as I was hit. They sprung into action without giving it a second thought.

I’d say so! You can’t tell I’m wearing it, so I remain incognito. The drawback is it obviously doesn’t protect your head as well as a full helmet, but it diffused the energy of a stroke from a glass bottle full of liquid rather than a single point of my skull taking blunt force. That would’ve been much worse
