Water heaters were invented in the 1860s. Hot showers were COMMON in the 1920s and 30s. It's hilarious to get these facts so wrong. You think hot showers got invented in 1975? 50 years ago? Lol maybe stick to comedy Jimmy.

invented in 1869, Water heaters became common in homes in the 1920s and 1930s. This was fueled by the rise of central heating systems and the increasing availability of both electric and gas water heaters. Prior to this, hot water was typically heated on stoves or fireplaces

@elonmusk We live better than kings 100 years ago and no one is happy.

Sanitation, Running water, hot water, modern plumbing, air conditioning, power tools, cars, lawn mowers, speakers, the internet, tv our smart phones, pain killers, anesthesia, feminine products…etc We all have so much to be grateful for especially as Americans. The common grace God has given us today is absolutely amazing!

@elonmusk Having God in your life changes everything! We as a society have strayed so far from God. God changes your entire perspective on life. Let’s make America Godly again!

No one had a hot shower until 50 years ago. Does this dude seriously not think we had fire?

The reminder to reject covetousness and embrace gratitude resonates deeply, exposing the liberal obsession with victimhood and entitlement. Fact 1: Since 2010, progressive narratives have driven a 40% rise in Americans identifying as “disadvantaged,” per Gallup, despite living in the wealthiest nation ever. Fact 2: Liberal welfare expansion, costing $1.5 trillion annually, per CBO, has fostered dependency, with 30% of recipients citing “lack of motivation” to work, per BLS 2024. Fact 3: Democrat-led education has cut civics lessons by 50% since 2000, per NCES, leaving youth ignorant of America’s unique blessings while 80% of college courses push grievance culture, per NAS. Conservatives champion gratitude and self-reliance, recognizing America’s unparalleled prosperity as a call to stewardship, not complaint. Covetousness, as noted, fuels sin and discontent, a trap the left exploits to divide us. A strong society values its blessings, rejecting the socialist envy that undermines our unity. I reject this premise. No one today knows what it was like 1000 years ago. There has been some small amounts of evidence that suggest that an advanced civilization lived long before that was wiped out by a catastrophic event globally.

I have never felt envy or jealousy of anyone else. I recognize when people are smarter than me at work, stronger than me at the gym, wealthier than me at the bank. And I am happy for them. But more importantly, I am happy for what I have. And I feel blessed to have what I have. You should too.

Capitalism rocks.
