Peta Credlin’s #SkyAfterDark nutty Budget Talk last night featured an attack on welfare programs inc the “NDIS” & even “Pensions.” According to Credlin, what govt needs to do is what she did in her Horror 2014 Budget & “start taking things off Australians”🙄#auspol

Labor tried to do that in a previous election. #SkyAfterDark spread the rumor that stopping refunds of Franking Credits was going to be the END of the WORLD.

Yes and Credlin wants to only take things off welfare dependant Australians not the rich ones receiving all the perks and benefits, because that would of course break the system

JFC! How about we take the $14.5 B subsidies off the FOSSIL FUEL THIEVES and start taxing them appropriately? Australia could even have a UBI if we did that.

I thought Uhlman was a dedicated ✝️ ⛪️ Christian. Not many Christian values or beliefs coming out of his mouth there. Everyone finds their level & those who end up pontificating on SKY are right down at the bottom of the barrel. Credlin was an unelected cruel fool & still is.

Better idea would be to start making the rich pay proper taxes and start claiming a bigger share of our mining resources. But I'm just an average Aussie, what would I know.

I’ve tried to write a comment about this post re the privileged smug pomposity of Uhlmann & the malignant savagery of Credlin calling for extreme austerity measures levelled at those who are less well off including pensioners but found it’s impossible to do so for fear of arrest

Peta Credlin. Always full of bright reactionary ideas; always full of advice for others, but a gob behind a desk and too spineless to ever get in the game. Everyone's an expert Peta.

The House defers the budget plenary deliberation of the Office of the Vice President The absence of the Vice President in the house plenary budget deliberation only means that she doesn’t care enough to defend the programs and projects of her office. If she claims that all these are necessary, she will do whatever it takes to fight for it. The House of Representatives adjourned the budget deliberation around three in the morning, that’s around 17 hours of debate and interpellations. But heads of government agencies patiently wait, members of the majority and minority fulfill their duty in the arguably most important piece of legislation the congress needs to pass every year. I agree with what Congressman Paolo Ortega said, that the photos of the Vice President are indeed concerning, it is not just disrespectful to the House of Representatives and the office she represents… This is also considered as a neglect of her duty as the head of her office. “If these reports are accurate, it is deeply concerning that the Vice President chose leisure over fulfilling her official constitutional duties to the nation. The budget deliberation is a critical process, one that ensures transparency and accountability in the use of public funds” The office of the Vice President released a statement but not even that justifies her absence in the house plenary deliberation. Talking to the people is important but it is not urgent and definitely not official — she can always go back and talk to them on days that are not her scheduled budget hearing. Based on an interview of Cong. Zia Alonto Adiong, his office repeatedly reached out to her office but in the end “walang meeting with OVP”. Please note that ALL government agencies brief the sponsor of their budget in preparation for the budget plenary hearing. Watch here: As per what's decided in plenary is that they will defer the budget deliberation and rescheduled to today, although I am not expecting that the Vice President will show up at this point. The level of her manners is beyond what I can understand, borrowing the internet word for it “bratinella” Just for the record, the Vice President, her allies and her supporters cannot play victim if she’s given a much lower budget than what was approved in committee. And I will use whatever limited platform I have to call upon the Senator to see the budget proposal of the Vice President by the merits and content, not her popularity.
