Buster doing his usual splits on the dick for anti Mets, legitimately weird individual

Yeah he’s having such a great year! Surely the Baltimore Orioles are in a playoff spot in an extremely weak American League!

Clearly they are in first place and a world series contender....

At the end of the day he didn’t want to be a met So this isn’t a gotcha

3rd worst OPS of his career to date in the first year of a massive overpay contract? This is the year he needs to really outperform his contract.

Alonso career OPS: .853 Alonso OPS this year: .820

He has a big year every year. The Mets are so bad without him.

Last year with the mets was his best. Olney has turned out to become the worst reporter. Always worried about the mets 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s not quite letting Tom Seaver go but given his talent, commitment, and popularity, Stearns will never live this down.

There is no defense of the Mets not re-signing him. Literally, zero.

.474 slugging. Get real. He’s performing below his averages. Would be nice to have him here, but he’s not gonna win MVP either.

He has a big year every year.

LOLMETS

Oriole Park has averaged 9.03 total runs per game since 2023 (n=296). Citi Field was 8.92 over the same span (n=290). The run environments are nearly identical. The park-change case for his production bump is thinner than the narrative suggests.

Pete is Pete. He’s a good player and Don’t want to argue one way or the other about Mets keeping or not but throughout his Met career after his rookie year I always felt that a guy who hit as many homers as he does should have an OPS north of 900. And it’s still the same.

@StevenACohen2 Fuck you and David Stearns. Pete is more of a Met than either of you two clowns

He’s having a good year, on pace for 35 hr and 108 rbi through 162 games. That would be below last year and playing in a much friendlier hitting home park. Baltimore happy I’m sure but still remains to be seen what the back end of the contract will look like.

He is actually below his career averages Buster.

Not once you acknowledged Pete when he was a Met. Are you still salty about the family farm?

Stearns went with the win prevention over the run prevention

I’m only here for comments from Mets fans. Coping is really something.

Don’t need him in New York we have Jorge Polanco *cries in a corner*

Mets could really use a guy like this

A typical year for him. If only the Mets could get him in their lineup to protect Soto.

This is his typical production we are seeing since the start of June. He will finish with 35-40+Hrs and 110 to 120 RBIs and .260+ Ba which makes his contract a total bargain.

Why do you hate the Mets so much? Every chance you get, you take it. Weird that they live rent free in your head

That's the last thing Mets fans want to hear

No hate towards Pete but spoken like someone who doesn’t know ball lmao

@StevenACohen2 still thinks this was a good decision as Sterns is still GM

He's going to win the same amount the Mets will. Who cares anymore? We won't chip with him and we might win one without him, hopefully some year.

Almost automatic 35/100 guy 🤣 but Stearns didn’t want him

Congrats; he took a giant bag of money to play for a last place team for the next 5 years Giving up playing for, likely, still a last place team this year and being a franchise icon by staying with the same team his whole career What a year…
