MTG, you can disagree with Hegseth’s use of Isaiah. But “we voted to defend America” and “send me” aren’t opposites. The entire purpose of having a military is that Americans volunteer to serve when the country calls. Hegseth explicitly connected Isaiah 6:8 to generations of Americans who raised their right hand and served. Calling that “using God’s name in vain” is your interpretation — not something the verse itself establishes. Disagree with the policy. Debate the war. Question the mission. But maybe stop acting like you have God on speed dial and He personally cleared your X draft. 🤌💀
