Pete Hegseth out here doing Olympic-level gymnastics to bring back Confederate general names on U.S. military bases. "This is about restoring history and Army morale!" Hegseth says, while twisting himself into knots to pretend it's not about Robert E. Lee & Co. who literally took up arms against America...

Only in America would military bases be named after generals who literally betrayed the country. No other nation does that.

Why does nobody come out and say the obvious? @SecWar is a racist. He refuses to promote black military leaders who have earned the promotion and wants bases named after Confederate soldiers who fought for the right to own slaves. It has nothing to do with tradition. Pete likes them because they were racist as well. It won't stop here. Decorated women soldiers will be next. Erased to support Pete's idea of the perfect "Aryan" soldier.

If you think the civil war was simply fought over slavery you don’t know shit about southern history & politics. I’m not a fan of hegseth but theirs real heritage from the confederacy and real heroes and warriors that fought in the south not for slavery but for the freedoms we still fight for everyday

As a person who served at both bases, this is not what I desire or require. This is disrespectful and disgraceful on so many levels.

Muslims have enslaved more people than almost any other group, care to elaborate about that historical fact so please teach someone else about slavery and morality and what races or groups practice it most.

You are obviously a progressive retard. History is important and should be respected. This is not some race war bs, as you are quite idiotically rambling on about, it is about the history of our nation. We preserve history so we do not forget, good or bad. So take your race baiting ass back to under the rock you slithered out from. You sound like an idiot. Very embarrassing.

As a combat Veteran deployed out of Ft Hood in 2006 and was wounded severely in Iraq, I don’t give a damn what the name of the base is/was. The names I care about are the five names from my platoon and 26 from my Squadron that were Killed in Action. Those are the names that matter now. We all know exactly why he’s doing this and exactly who told him too. All this guy is doing is being a bookicking Sycophant!!!

Why did the woke communist change the names in the first place. It’s the woke that made this an issue to upset families. Don’t try to fix what’s not broken. Our history takes precedence.. Good for Hegseth, not falling over the woke broke!

The entire democrat party fought to preserve slavery. That is not the reason to dump the pedo-marxist effort to rename our historic military facilities.

TRUMP CALLS MILITARY CRITICS “TREASONOUS” AS QUESTIONS OVER IRAN WAR GROW President Trump is stepping directly into the debate over the state of the U.S. military, not just defending the war in Iran, but attacking those reporting on it. “Treacherous scum.” That is how the president described people raising questions about America’s military readiness. For months, reports have warned about the strain the Iran war is placing on U.S. weapons stockpiles. Concerns over key munitions and the Pentagon’s ability to replace them are growing. Even Vice President JD Vance recently acknowledged that depleted weapons stockpiles have become a serious problem. Trump’s response is not to answer those concerns; it is to attack the people asking them. This comes as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth faces mounting scrutiny. The Army Secretary resigned after months of reported tension with Hegseth. Senior officials reportedly warned about the direction of the Iran conflict. The Pentagon even used influencers to shape public narratives around the war. Now Republican Sen. Thom Tillis is calling for Hegseth to be fired. Tillis says he has “never witnessed more inept management” of the men and women serving America. He accuses Hegseth of being “intimidated by competence,” fueling culture wars instead of focusing on defense, and creating a “leadership void” at the top of the military. When the answer to concerns about readiness is “treasonous scum,” it does not answer the question. It only makes the question more urgent. Questioning military leadership is not treason. It is the job of a free press, especially during war.

Syrian President al-Sharaa on foreign military bases in Syria: 📌 "We are seeking not to have any foreign military bases in Syria and to have complete and pure sovereignty of the Syrian state." 📌 "Russia was there in the past and we inherited their presence when we arrived in Damascus and we chose to go through a dialogue with them and this dialogue led to a result. Those bases shrank into only two bases." 📌 "They had around 170 military bases and now there are only two bases and after long discussions with them, we reached a point where we changed or we transformed those bases into training bases for the Syrian army." 📌 "So they are not military bases that can oversee or provide any logistical work for operations that are launched from those bases against other countries." 📌 "However, we are still going through discussions with them, but the final stage was put in a memorandum of understanding that is being implemented right now." 📌 "As for the Turks, they were involved in a certain time because they were concerned about the security of their borders. Those bases also in northwest of Syria also got less and less and now we are getting into having a legal status for them." 📌 "So the Syrian state, I believe, very soon will not have the necessity to have any military or foreign military presence and I believe we can go through the relations, diplomatic relations and respect with all the countries in the neighborhoods and the fronts of Syria."

🚨 NIDAL HASAN NOW FACES A FIRING SQUAD - 15 YEARS AGO, RICK WOMICK WARNED AMERICA ABOUT ISLAM IN THE U.S. MILITARY President Trump has approved death by U.S. Army firing squad for Nidal Hasan - the Army major and psychiatrist who murdered 13 people and wounded more than 30 at Fort Hood. Hasan wasn't some foreign fighter who broke into an American military installation. HE WAS THE U.S. MILITARY. An Army major. An Army psychiatrist. A man entrusted with American soldiers. And Hasan said he carried out the massacre to stop U.S. troops from going to Afghanistan and killing his “fellow Muslims.” Now listen to what former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and Tennessee State Rep. Rick Womick said in 2011: “Personally, I don't trust one Muslim in our military.” Womick said that if someone truly followed the Quran and Sunnah, he believed that presented a threat. Then he was asked directly whether Muslims should be removed from the U.S. military. His answer: “Absolutely, yeah.” Womick was slammed for saying it - because the GOP did not stand by him - SHAMEFUL! Now look at the question sitting in front of America today. How did Nidal Hasan rise to MAJOR in the United States Army while believing his “fellow Muslims” needed protection from the very military whose uniform he wore? How did a man entrusted with American troops reach the point where he turned his weapon on them? And why, after Fort Hood, is America still so terrified to have a serious conversation about Islam inside the U.S. military? HERO Rick Womick put the issue on the table 15 years ago. Nidal Hasan murdered 13 people while serving as a U.S. Army major. Now President Trump has approved his execution by firing squad. Maybe it is long past time America stopped being afraid of the question Rick Womick was willing to ask.
