Pete Maravich was that good…

Evolution of the game is crazy cause this is just normal guard workouts now, but someone’s gotta set the standard first and that’s always impressive

Tf was that at 38 seconds

You can find your own video. 🤷♀️

I’m talking about the move he did it was some type of violation

Don’t know. I didn’t see the violation.

I really didn’t see the PM violation. I looked three times at the 38 second mark. Was it someone else?

As far as Raw Talent and skill It's Jordan and Piston Pete on their own Level Nobody is close to both of them Did you know Pistol Pete practiced 8 hours a day for 9 months of the year then in the Winter 4 hours a day. He probably practiced Basketball over 25,000 hours Insane

Crazy. It shows. He must’ve really loved the game.

They did an analysis of his game film (what they had) and radio calls of his LSU career. Adding a 3pt line, his NCAA record of 44ppg career avg would have been 51 instead. Was all of that and maybe best passer ever.

Imagine what he could do with a gatherstep, carrying the ball, and no travels called today!

Put Jalen Green in that era he the face of the league 😂😂

One of my favorite basketball cards in my collection

white chocolate was better but he got to run cuz pistol pete walked

He averaged 40 something points a game at LSU. Averaged!

One of the greatest ever Balkan stand up

Legend 👌🔥

Basketball was better when they had rules. Now there is no carry, they take four steps, the game has been destroyed by idiots.

They're called Maravich drills for a reason.

During his freshman year, he had to be on the JV (school rule), and more people showed up to Pete's games than the varsity.

Playing against dudes who would work at the YMCA today 😭👑

@pemisssss ur goat

With a three point line, he would have averaged over 50 per game.

He was a beast.

Those are like Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar skills.

Averaged 44 points a game at LSU without a 3 point line. That’s just nuts!

Pete Maravich would occasionally come play pickup games at a public basketball court near my home in Dunwoody, Georgia, in the late 70s. Playing against him was absolutely incredible.

The Pistol played in the wrong decade…

Pete Maravich > LeBron James all day

Hot take but they were better passers/teammates back in the day

He was a Magician on the court. I saw him throw a behind the back 3/4 court pass to a breaking team member, and he was falling out of bounds, a DIME

Smooth af. Dude influenced streetball and most dont even know it. Whiteboy set the foundation

@HisStankness Pete Maravich walked so White Chocolate could fly.

Is that @Centazzo

@JonnyCarrots007 The original white chocolate.

LSU gal ?😊

Of course!

@CCGinBR He was unbelievable. His shot-making skills were other worldly. When he crossed half-court he was in range. He was a one man team at LSU. Injuries held him back from a great NBA career. He died young of heart ailments.

Wizard caught in time

Kyrie would be tried and found guilty of witchcraft in those days.

Then Bird made him retire

We watched The Pistol movie in elementary school all the time . First player I learned about

white chocolate
