Dillingham went on to say that he loves recruiting athletes who can play multiple sports, especially basketball. "I love guys who play basketball. Not the shooters, I like guys who get to the hoop, body up a little bit... That's what we look for when we look at other sports: Does the skill set in your other sport translate to football?" Leavitt is seen throwing 50+ yards FLAT-FOOTED and 40+ yard missiles while on the run. I don't know what I would've done at this point...What I happened to do here in the Valley. Staying here for four years. It took three to get to that final year. Some bonds go far beyond basketball. During the funeral Mass honoring Louisville legend Kenny Klein, Rick Pitino shared a heartfelt story that perfectly summed up their friendship. Pitino reflected on the countless memories they shared over the years and said the last two years they spent together were among the most meaningful of his coaching career. He recalled a game at Carnesecca Arena, where the area around the scorer’s table became so crowded that Kenny had to move his seat. Before tip-off, Pitino looked over and realized his longtime friend wasn’t sitting beside him like he always was. He immediately called the athletic director and made sure Kenny was brought back to his seat. Pitino joked, “If Kenny isn’t sitting next to me, we’re going to lose.” It was a simple story, but one that spoke volumes about the friendship the two shared.
