As an Obidient and a resident of Benin City, I totally disagree with you on this, Aisha. This is very, very far from fairness, justice, and equity. It's completely insane for a Bini man to take over power from a Bini man after 8yrs. Even the Oba knows this. Many of us supported Peter Obi in 2023 presidential election not just because of his capacity but because we believed it was time for the SE to produce the next president. This is a very poor move by @PeterObi, and sorry some of us will continue to support the power shift to Edo Central, and our man is Asue Ighodalo. Still, we remain Obidient.
