Let's reverse engineer Disney's adorable, lifelike robot! I couldn't find a whitepaper, but this is how I think it's trained: 1. The emotional behaviors are curated by Disney animation artists, keyframe by keyframe. But it cannot be "rendered" directly on the robot because it doesn't take into account the complex real-world physics. 2. Reinforcement learning (RL) is a great tool for training low-level robot controllers. RL needs a reward function to optimize, and it's typically a task reward (e.g. walk in a straight line as fast as possible). The problem is that RL doesn't know what counts as "natural behavior", and often produces weird-looking body postures that somehow still maximize the reward. This is a human alignment problem just like ChatGPT. 3. Enters Adversarial Motion Prior (AMP): a technique that learns the human preference by training a classifier on what we consider "emotional & cute". In GAN literature, this is called a discriminator. Disney artists are good at creating such a dataset. You can then add AMP as an auxiliary reward in simulation to nudge the robot towards desired behaviors. AMP was developed by Peng et al. 2021 and Escontrela et al. 2022. 4. Add lots of data augmentation to make the controller robust to physical disturbances. In RL, it's called "domain randomization". This is a very powerful technique that bridges the gap between simulator and reality. Previously, OpenAI used domain randomization to train a 5-finger robot hand to manipulate a Rubik's Cube: IEEE news article gave hints about the pipeline: Finally, praying for world peace 🙏. I hope robotics like this will bring more joy to the world.

Phu reminiscing abt GMMTV's early days & how performing at Impact used to be a dream... It's so nice to know he was able to make that dream come true. PONDPHUWIN FINISH LINE #LOLFanFest2026D3 #PondPhuwin 🐼: I want to continue from what Khun Thee was saying. I'll speak as someone who's been in this house for a long time. P'Earth & I had the chance to perform together in a concert for the 1st time around 2018 or 2019. Back then, the concert was held at Thunder Dome, right across from here. And there's 1 thing I remember very clearly from that day when we were standing on stage together. P'Off said that 1 day, he & GMMTV would be able to hold a concert at Impact Arena. And 3 or 4 years later, they actually did it. After that, I felt like GMMTV just kept growing & growing until we had the opportunity to perform at Impact multiple times a year. I've thought abt this many times. Every time I'm standing on that glass lift b4 my entrance, I look out at the arena & think: "How many times in a person's life do they get the chance to stand on the stage of Impact Arena?" And being at GMMTV makes us realize that all 24 of us have had that opportunity. The younger Nongs also get the chance to stand on the Impact Arena stage, hold concerts, work on projects, & experience so many things, both in the past few yrs & in the future. That's why I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this family. And incredibly lucky to have so many P', Nongs, & friends walking this journey alongside me. Bc I feel like there's smth very special here. I don't know exactly how we do it. Maybe it's bc we had great P' who built such a strong family culture. I've said this b4, & I'll keep saying it: This is 1 of the few companies where I feel artists don't compete for attention. No one tries to steal the spotlight. No one guards engagement or tries to push others aside. Everyone lives like a family. Everyone treats eo w/ friendship & support.

🚨₱332 Billion Later: The Price of Falling on Deaf Ears I wrote about this before; but now, there is a video from 7 years ago about House Majority Leader Rolando Andaya Jr’s expose. This whole mess went down during the Duterte administration, but the warnings completely fell on deaf ears. Despite the massive red flags brought to light by Andaya Jr., the Duterte admin did nothing and the issue was swept under the rug. 1. Andaya exposed that ₱75 billion was secretly added to the 2019 DPWH budget. A DPWH official testified under oath that this money did not come from their agency; it only appeared after the budget went through the DBM. 2. Out of that insertion, ₱14.5 billion went to flood control. In total, the government allocated a staggering ₱332 billion for flood defenses in just three years (2017 to 2019). Yet, heavily hit flood-prone areas continued to suffer. 3. While areas devastated by Typhoon Usman received virtually no help, over ₱385 million was funneled into six specific flood and drainage projects in Casiguran, Sorsogon — the hometown of the politically powerful Hamor family. ✳️ The Casiguran breakdown: Himaoyon Flood Control (₱75M) Lungib Seawall (₱80M) Somal-ot Seawall (₱100M) Cagpagol River Control (₱45M) Suji River Control (₱25M) Poblacion Drainage System (₱60M). 4. The main contractor landing these deals was Aremar Construction Corporation. Corporate records revealed a massive conflict of interest: one of Aremar’s main incorporators was married to the daughter of then-DBM Secretary Benjamin Diokno. 5. To bypass scrutiny, a firm called C.T. Leoncio Construction allegedly acted as a conduit. They won around ₱2 billion in Bicol infrastructure projects but secretly passed the actual work and profits over to Aremar. 6. Andaya produced actual deposit slips proving that over ₱70 million (including a single transfer exceeding ₱11.4 million) was moved directly into Aremar's bank accounts, which major anti-money laundering questions for the banks involved. 🔸What happened to Andaya after: Following this intense expose, Andaya faced heavy political backlash and survived multiple assassination attempts, including separate incidents where his vehicle was shot at in 2018 and 2021. Tragically, before his findings could ever lead to any real accountability, he was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head at his residence in June 2022. 🔸Where it stands today: Because everything fell on deaf ears back then, absolutely nothing happened. *** Mega Parodius Sega Megadrive Update *** Lately I've been having some fun seeing how far we can push the Parodius game engine . This is not arcade accurate - just for testing, decreased bullet timers and upped the bullet count to see what would happen re cpu usage when things are made a lot busier ! Maybe something like this could be insane mode in the options etc. Since last update we are a lot more optimised under the hood . The C based sprite engine, particularly visibility checking was speedup , overall 25 % faster. Then re-wrote the sprite engine completely in 68k assembly , 30% faster again. It took about 3 days and 1500 lines of assembly , thankfully the gains were worth it. All these gains will be back ported to S.O.T.A also as its using the same sprite engine. Usage is around 19% of cpu per frame with a full sprite load - 33 % cpu left in the busiest frame currently . Parodius is using a write the sprite list every frame type engine , so priority and meta-sprite objects can be handled with ease albiet its still a bit slower than static allocation sprite engines such as the one in lufthoheit but this is a bit easier to code for in the long run. All collision checks are been done , we are using a spatial grid system to get the collision checks done faster than a brute force approach . To get to maximum sprite count destruction is disabled in the video. We hit 80 sprites onscreen in this sequence , the sprite counter is one the Left side. We use about 16 sprites in the top hud and water line , about 21 for player attacks / missiles / shots / options . Up to 35 bullets + enemies . No lazer usage here as the Lazers use zero sprites thanks to the raster tricks , this video is all about the sprites ! Improved the water line when the Catboss is active , as he is Sprites + Forground we are doing some tile rotation tricks eg bit scrolling to give the impression of parrallax at that point . Vector Orbitex has updated the stage 1 music again and has made things even higher quality , hes mixed pcm and fm channels together to create higher quality orchestral hits for example . Pyron has started converting assets from stage 2/3 , some amazing work there . Hes well ahead of me at present which is a good thing. Financial Year 2021-2022​ Key Audit Issues: Unsupported Bursary Payments Amount: Kshs. 27,175,972. KSH 27 million in claimed "bursary expenses" have no documentation/support. No listing of applicants, successful and unsuccessful beneficiaries, or receipts confirming fee payments. In other words, not a shilling of this claim of expense is supported by evidence. Ownership and Valuation of Assets Total Assets: Kshs. 27,797,600. Claims to have spent Ksh. 28 million to acquire assets such as computers, scanners, and printers. But has no records to provide to auditors for Ksh. 28 million worth of assets. Incomplete Pit Latrine Project Project Cost: Kshs. 500,000. Located at Bitunyi Primary School but remains incomplete despite full payment. Financial Year 2020-2021​ Key Audit Issues Unsupported Expenditure on Goods and Services Total Expenditure: Kshs. 9,457,931 in expenditures have no support or documentation. Not even one receipt. Unverified Transactions: Another Kshs. 2,943,085 Missing supporting documents such as contracts, invoices, and delivery notes. Unsupported School Construction Expenditures Total Disbursed: Says Kshs. 61,640,000 was disbursed, but Kshs. 32,500,000 cannot be verified through bank statements, receipts, or anything else. Ksh. 32 million cannot be traced. At all. No tendering, contracts, or payment records for 30 "claimed classrooms built" in three schools. Unverified Bursary Disbursements Total Bursary: Kshs. 24,052,272 expenditure claimed, but Kshs. 16,307,600 cannot be verified. No beneficiary lists or documentation for payments. Compliance Issues: Unverified Land Purchase for Kamukuywa Township High School. Amount Allocated: Kshs. 1,000,000 No purchase agreement, title deed, or valuation report. My name is AbdulHakam AKA Hakoom i love playing video games since the 80s and got hooked up with the playstation brand back in 1996.. in 2007 the online system came on the ps3 and i created my playstation acc back then, later on playstation released the trophy system and i was able to achieve the 1st rank in 2009 and in 2018/2019 i entered Guinness 5 times.. later at 2021 i retired unofficially due to the garbage 1$ shovelware getting out of hand on psn. I then had a partnership with playstation and i started receiving review codes and hardware for reviewing All was good until sept 9. on sept 9 my acc was permanently suspended for no reason and i received no email at all.. even when i talked to customer support they didnt help at all i was then lucky to get in touch with another department and they said they will look in to the matter few days later i received a msg on whatsapp from a random person saying my datas are leaked on the internet and the user is bribing playstation employees and stealing user datas and selling/banning them ( all photos and evidence are in the video) The photos clearly show playstation admin computers which no user can access on a normal computer this information was all forwarded to playstation for investigation.. the scammer even called me and tried to get private datas from me which is showin in the video too and that was also forwarded to playstation. After all that mountain of evidence playstation replies and i was shocked!!! They said you have violations 1- you platinumed games which require 100h to platinum in few hours 2- You completed games in 0 mins 3- you logged in over 2000 accs on your playstations 4- you logged in 29 playstations I was like wth? what is the game which i platinum in few hours and req 100? psnprofiles would insta flag me for that... then i remembered something called auto trophy pops or platinum pops which all of you trophy hunter know.. Even after the mountain of evidence i showed they still wouldnt accept it and just told me we will raise the ban after 45 days.. they also removed me from the partnership program.. My official resignation from playstation video Due to corruption and oppression with evidence. The translation isnt very accurate and goes fast sometimes so i will write the story here. I know its a long video but its a must watch -------- Keep in mind this isnt about you support or hate me.. its about sensitive data leakage and company corruption so everyone is in it! -------- I was going to release this video few months back but i held back due to the problem being solved and i kept quiet. Here is my story before i start i want to introduce my self to the people who dont know me. My name is AbdulHakam AKA Hakoom i love playing video games since the 80s and got hooked up with the playstation brand back in 1996.. in 2007 the online system came on the ps3 and i created my playstation acc back then, later on playstation released the trophy system and i was able to achieve the 1st rank in 2009 and in 2018/2019 i entered Guinness 5 times.. later at 2021 i retired unofficially due to the garbage 1$ shovelware getting out of hand on psn. I then had a partnership with playstation and i started receiving review codes and hardware for reviewing All was good until sept 9. on sept 9 my acc was permanently suspended for no reason and i received no email at all.. even when i talked to customer support they didnt help at all i was then lucky to get in touch with another department and they said they will look in to the matter few days later i received a msg on whatsapp from a random person saying my datas are leaked on the internet and the user is bribing playstation employees and stealing user datas and selling/banning them ( all photos and evidence are in the video) The photos clearly show playstation admin computers which no user can access on a normal computer this information was all forwarded to playstation for investigation.. the scammer even called me and tried to get private datas from me which is showin in the video too and that was also forwarded to playstation. After all that mountain of evidence playstation replies and i was shocked!!!
