Metro fares in other Indian cities, even for similar distances, are lesser than that of Bengaluru Metro. In Bengaluru, a 20 - 25 km ride costs ₹80, while in Delhi, even a ride of 32 km is just ₹64. In Mumbai, a 12-18 km journey costs ₹30, yet in Bengaluru, traveling 10-15 km already costs ₹60 which is 2x the fare. The highest fare in Mumbai is ₹70, whereas in Bengaluru it is ₹90 for journeys beyond 25 km. Metro fares in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Nagpur are 25-50% lower than Bengaluru. If metro organisations in these cities are charging commuters this much, why can't Bengaluru? Watch.

#Gurgaon #Gurugram #DLF_Sealing_Drive A restoration drive has been initiated against the various violations done by the owners of residential plot in DLF Phase -3. This drive has been conducted in compliance of Hon’ble High Court in CWP no 1528 of 2021. The drive was started around 12 PM today along with the SHO DLF-3 and policemen/ policewomen help and District Administration help in S Block - Nathupur Road - DLF Phase 3. Today the DTP, Enforcement team ( Town & Country Planning) has only able to cover the following plots / building and demolished / sealed the violations as given below:- NR-16 - Guest House permission was granted - but he has covered the stilts and made office. Now all the office partitions in the stilts have been removed and Parked car. NR-19 This building was used for GUEST HOUSE with 15 rooms - SEALED. NR - 34E ( complete building sealed ) This building has basement , GF, FF & SF. Basement - EASY DINNNER - office was found - SEALED. Ground Floor - 7 rooms - used as Guest House - SEALED First Floor - POSTCARD HOTELS & RESORT - office was found - SEALED Second Floor - 7 rooms - used as Guest House - SEALED Total 28 rooms - SEALED. NR - 21 - PG This building is stilt +4 with basement. Basement is used for CROSSOVER FITNESS GYM - sealed.
