Owen - “Arsenal fans say the ball is moving so it can’t be delayed” Webb - “we don’t know that for certain” You are actually taking the piss man. Sack him.

Declan Rice didn’t delay the restart because the free kick physically couldn’t have been taken. Brighton delayed 3 restarts. no cards. Spurs delayed 3 restarts. No cards. You are a corrupt bunch of cheats.

Why wasn’t Veltman booked then lads? “Taking a free kick from the wrong position to force a retake” Funny how there is no mention of this? Why didn’t the ref “have no choice” here?

Absolute crock of shit from @FA_PGMOL Ignoring the laws of the game and making shit up to fit their narrative. 1. Since this incident, there have been dozens of instances of players ACTUALLY delaying the restart. The only one I’m aware of who received a caution is Saliba. The other 30+ I have seen received no caution. 2. Rice didn’t delay the restart. The ball was moving and could not be taken as a freekick as claimed. It was purely an attempt at violent conduct. The PL should taking refereeing their gamed out of the hands of PGMOL. They aren’t fit for purpose and Webb has, incredibly, made them even worse than before.

Why did VAR intervene and tell the ref on 3 separate occasions to award Rice with a second yellow card? Something they are NOT allowed to do.

Did Howard Webb watch this with his eyes closed lol? “We can’t say if the ball was moving for certain” “Rice should be walking away”

On the moving ball, Webb says "we don't know if the ball was still moving". Wtaf? It's just completely dismissive to Owens question. He then completely ignores the ball being played and rolled into rices back leg before rice touches it as it spins past him, still moving. They're so fixated on making sure their decision is the right one, they just ignore other parts of its process, it's complete rubbish

Webb says "we don't know if the ball was still moving"

Don't care what this bald bellend has to say. He will back the referees and find a way to justify it, but will ignore the real problem - referees applying "letter of the law" as and when they feel like it. No consistency.
