Phang: Pardons and commutations—clemency—this is not something that should be driven by political gain or political motivations. And look, let’s be blunt: does that happen here and there? Of course it does. Does it happen under a Democratic president? Of course. But is it ever this brazen, this grifty,... show more

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

Pardon Transparency Act forces bureaucrats to document EVERY decision. No more secret deals. DOJ weaponizes prosecutions vs enemies while shielding Hunter's crimes. Career swamp rats spent decades trading favors while FBI buries evidence on Clinton/Biden deals. Transparency ends their games.

It’s trump trying to normalize tax fraud on which he’s been convicted of 34 times

We don't care. Just like you didn't care

Joy-Ann Reid criticizes Trump’s May 28, 2025, pardons, including the Chrisleys’, as brazenly political, calling his “pardon-palooza” uniquely grifty compared to other presidents. Critics see favoritism; supporters claim it corrects judicial overreach.

Why is disgusting appropriate? Boomer women love that word. It's returning favours doing things to help friends and supporters with minor problems or overreacting judge sentencings. That's what politics is about.

What says your a criminal more than pardoning others like yourself ❓ You can always use more gang members and they owe you favors then. When are all Americans going to be ashamed of such behavior ❓

@patriottakes

Clemency should be about justice, not cronyism or political favors. But with Trump, it’s like a never-ending reality show of pardons for friends, allies, and sometimes outright shady characters. It’s less about fairness and more about cashing in favors and that’s just disgusting.
What's the point of a judiciary and court system where a person is tried and judged by a jury of their peers as per the Law of the land but if convicted the President can pardon them? That's a banana republic not a democracy. Kim Jong Un would fit right into Trump's White House.
